Tags in S2 layers

(Note: I pulled this information out of the core specs, but I owe knowledge of what I was looking for to anchan218's post in s2flexisquares. I'm just summarizing what I've found -- I'm not an official LJ/SixApart voice!)

The tags member on Comment is currently not used, but is presumably there for future expansion. There's actually a bug right now where if you try to access this empty array your layer will crash. I reported the bug, so hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Oooh, looks like it would be possible to make, for instance, a drop down menu containing all the tags used, and when you select one it takes you to that tag page. I wish I was more savvy about this, then I would try to figure it out myself : )

Hmm. There doesn't look like there is a way to get the number of entries each tag is applied to. Or am I missing something?
