Entry Header Subject

Hi all, I have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with:

1. I'm trying to get my subject line to show when I click on the entry. Right now it's not showing up and I can't see where in my css code I need to make a change to get it to appear. I checked .entryHeaderSubject but that doesn't seem to be hidden.

2 - go there http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml?group=text_entry

and in "Text to replace a subject line when no subject is specified" put the text you want to appear if you didn't put a subject.

Hmm, it says there that "This only appears in places where a subject line is required, such as on a month view." I was hoping for something that would appear in recent entries, and I think I saw that some comms had "Please title your post" in the subject line (I don't remember if they were Smooth Sailing or not).

In any case thank you, at least I got half of the issue solved!

Hi there, I have the same problem with the entry title and removed the display:none from body-title and body-midtitle, but somehow didn't change anything ;_;

Smooth Sailing is confusing @_@

Usually when I get some advice on what to do re: css and it doesn't work like it's supposed to, they tell me to check if there's an extra/missing : or ;
Other than that, I'm not sure I can help. I'm still learning.
