problem with sidebar tags in IE

my sidebar tags look fine with FF firefox screenshot

but with IE this happens IE screenshot

Firefox doesn't allow for scrollbars to be coded; the scrollbar codes are IE only.

thats not the issue my problem is that in IE the tag im sidebar looks more thiner compared to everything else in the sidebar
