Limiting the amount of tags in the sidebar?

Forgive me if this is terribly obvious but I'm stumped. The community I'm having trouble with is ontd_politicalI'd really like a way to limit the amount of tags that show up in the sidebar. Instead of loading ~1000 tags every time, is it possible to limit it to the top, say, 100 tags

I added layerinfo source_viewable = 1;, hopefully this makes it viewable:
