Date Format "Date" Change? - SOLVED

Hello, I am trying to change "October 4" to "October 4th". Is this possible? This is what is in my theme layer (Saturday, October 5, 2008):

print $e.time->date_format("%%day%%, %%month%% %%d%%, %%yyyy%%");I remember with S1 overrides, it would be "dth" instead of "d," but I tried it and the number doesn't show up. Does anyone know what I should

It may not work, but my code is %%date%% and it shows up as "4th"...
