[paid accounts] Quickreply Boxes

This code has been rendered unnecessary by this release.

QuickReply is now added to Flexible Squares entry pages by default.This tutorial explains how to add in Quickreply Boxes (like those available on uncustomized LJ entry pages). Reply forms pop up beneath the entry or the comment you want to reply to, without loading the reply page first ( Read more... )

This is lovely, I have a quick question. I would like to test this in a preview mode without switching over to this layer. Any ideas on how to view entry pages, or friends view in the preview mode?

Quick rundown --
Entry pages:

Friends view: http://stickykeys633.livejournal.com/friends?s2id=15444357
or http://stickykeys633.livejournal.com/friends?skip=20&s2id=15444357 or http://stickykeys633.livejournal.com/friends?s2id=15444357&skip=20

And so on and so forth. Just indicate the first additional argument to the URL with a "?". If you need additional arguments, such as when previewing 20 entries back, use "&".

Whoops, one more thing. I tried this with the tags page

And it only goes to my tag page. I've always had a slight issue with the tags page.

Ha, I just fixed the "picture to use" problem by extending my entries size by 4px.

I still can't figure out where to put the code to get rid of the black border, though.

I'm having trouble getting this to work with entry-replies, or toplevel comments. It works fine with comment-replies. So I guess my problem is in step 4? Here's my theme layer: http://www.livejournal.com/customize/advanced/layerbrowse.bml?id=9009949

Okay, I see - it does work on the entry page, just not on the recent entries page or the friends page, but it's not supposed to work there, anyway, right?
