I have IE 8 and they seem to be okay, aside from font difference, to me in both that and FF. I have mine set on "Blue Gray" by Yati Mansor, if that makes any difference.
...that's very strange. It continues to be skiplinkless on my Internet Explorer, and I'm using the same theme. But once I put it on a different journal (same code, exactly) the links appeared on the new journal.

Thank you for looking into it - I'm really baffled now, but it's good to know that it's at least semi-functional for other people.
Check the "Style" section and see what the link color is. Maybe that's an issue for IE. Also, under the "Custom CSS" page that all 3 drop down menus are set to "No". I've made that simple mistake before. Sorry I couldn't be of more help :(
No... I was actually never able to replicate the problem. Once I moved the layout from my test journal to the actual journal it was intended for, the links were there.
It was very strange, and I did check the css drop boxes, etc.
