User pic background in comments; Separators in the footer; Comment form

Thank you all for detailed answeres and posts! I am kinda lost now. Here are my most bothering me questions:

1. How do I make the white background around the userpic on the FRIENDS PAGE disappear? They seem fine in the journal itself, but if I go to the Friends page, all userpics have white background around them. This is really annoying (to me) as

1. Disable "Show friends colors on friends page" here.

3. Which options? Maybe it has something to do with the language layer?

2. I found it! I can at least get rid of thos annoying to me separators, and I have a free account:

hi. 100 years ago i had another journal, which i purged along with the community. so all my work went down the drain.

mr.baltimore, now i have a paid account and i would like to have all the comments collect without indentation.
