Change Entry Header IMG, Remove default userpic border - SOLVED

Newbie here. I've just started a new unpaid account LJ with Expressive Seasonal as the Theme.  I thought I'd able to override CSS by adding new CSS to Journal Display > Custom Options > Custom CSS, but I'm stuck already!

Problem #1) KILL SNOWMAN ICON
From this entry I pasted and modified the code

The CSS in the post is right; however what's in your page source isn't. .layout-tw #alpha-inner is missing its closing "}", which is why the user-pic border is still there. And, you have a "#" instead of .asset-header-content.

Aha!

The missing } was the main problem, thank you very much!!!

The # sign wasn't what I had earlier; that was my flailing in a clueless fashion. (And, whoops, I think I get it now, that's for ids, . is for classes, right?)
