EDIT: This problem somehow resolved itself when my layout got changed (somehow) and I had to change it back. Thank you everyone for your time!

Hi! Er, newcomer to the comm here, and I was hoping that someone could help me. ^^;

I recently switched to an Expressive layout, and it's pretty simple; I like it. The only problem occurs when I read certain ( Read more... )

I don't know a reason why it is, but it might help if you put a line of code in that just straight changes the comment title font color? But I don't know which CSS code that'd be, but that's a solution, if you can figure out which value to change.

It might be #comments to start it, but I'm not sure because I think comments might be considered metadata. D: Sorry.

I guess I could try that, if all else fails ^^;; I'm not really sure. I mean, I would think maybe something in my CSS borked it up, but I hardly have anything in there :\ Just code to change my icon alignment (to the right) and code to mess with my link colors.

Thank you for the suggestion, though~

Is there a public entry you can link to where this is going on?

Unfortunately, none of my entries have enough comments for comment expansion to be necessary, so I can't really easily show it :\ So I'm not sure what I could do about that.

I can take more screenshots from my f-list as necessary though? Is there something you're looking to see in particular?

A direct link to a page or thread would be more helpful, because then I can use something like Firebug to see where the color is coming from. If it's not happening in your journal, then it's probably not your customization settings and is more of a system style problem.

Well, it's not that it's not happening exactly--I think the same thing would happen in my own LJ if I had the comment threads to expand and show it. But since I don't, it appears normal. (I wish I could get it to stay that way, even in expanded comments :\)

I thought about linking you to a stylized post from my friends page that would show it, but then I realized it would just default to your style :(

Thank you for your help & time, though. Is there any way to look at my system style specifically to see what the problem is? Or any other viable options?

If there's not, I guess I'll just have to live with it ^^;
