Comments text?

Because of an increased amount of spam comments on LJ, I'd like to turn off anon posting. My lj page is syndicated from a wordpress-based site; I'd love to have something on the comment form directing non-lj users to the other site if they wish to comment. Is there a way to add or change the text on the comment page?

I'm not sure I follow. Can you give a link to the page that has the text you want to change? Although, if you're talking about the LJ comment form, then no, you can't change the text of that.

On this page:

I'd like something by (above, below, beside, anywhere!) the words COMMENT FORM that directs anon posters elsewhere.

Ah, OK. That's fairly easy-- but you need to use a theme layer to add whatever static text you want to the ReplyPage::print_body() function. I can't remember if I've helped you out with that in the past or not.

You have helped before (thanks!)-- I already have a theme layer. Where in the ReplyPage section should I edit/add the text?
