Sorry it's taken me so long to get you a response... "liquid layouts" like you describe are actually kind of difficult to do properly, especially on Internet Explorer and with themes like Expressive that used fixed-width images as backgrounds. One thing you can try is changing your pixel size widths to percentages. There might be a way to work a "min-width" rule in there, but I haven't had much luck so far. =(
Thank yoy for your response. I ended up getting the minimum width I could make. Is there any place to get the references for different parts of the layout (like header-inner, alpha, etc)? I would like to make white space around my menu smaller, but can't find a name. I'll try using percentage as soon as I get around a computer with wider screen. Thank you for a hint!
