SOLVED - Linkable Header Image ::or:: Adding Non-LJ Links to the Header

I was hoping there would be a way I could make my header image linkable so that someone could click on it and go back to my webpage (http://blog.cherryteresa.com).

OR If I really get what I'm hoping for, I'd like to be able to make custom links that go on top of the header. Basically, if ( Read more... )

The only way to add links to the others in the header text is through a theme layer. The tutorial for making a theme layer is here, and I wrote up a reply for adding links here.

Hey Mike, thank you. I saw that before but I was thinking there might be another way. Or a way to link the header image itself. So I'm going to use the way you just mentioned.

I have been trying that and I almost have it. For some reason, it has a blue butterfly background instead of just a plain white background. I'm sure I'm overlooking something really small but I've been trying since yesterday and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong ( ... )

I think I got it now. For some reason, it was showing the blue boom back ground stuff before and all the links colors and everything. I just had to add some stuff to the top part of the Theme.

[layerinfo "type" = "theme";
layerinfo "name" = "Unstyled";] - minus these parts

layerinfo "redist_uniq" = "voxhtml/__none";
set base_theme = "__none";
set theme_bgcolor = "";
set theme_fgcolor = "";
set theme_bordercolor = "";
set theme_linkcolor = "";
set theme_designer = "";
set theme_designer_type = "";

Which I found looking at the unstyled Theme layer in the Public Layers section.

So I'm fillin in the "" parts now.

Thanks for all your help.

I also live in Baltimore and I see we are both friends with thehipgoddess, so it's possible you and I may have seen each other around!

Looks like you got it working... ?
I'm not following on why you put all those line breaks in there, though.
