my header image overlaps the navigation strip in IE7, but not in Firefox. Is there a quick fix for this? I have been reading everything I can think of and I haven't found an answer yet ( Read more... )

There was a problem that started a few weeks ago when the "Random journal" link was added to the Nav strip. It seems to affect only IE7 and not Firefox. If you want, I can link you to relevant Support requests, but the developers know about it and will post some kind of fix soon.

I was probably remiss in not posting something about it here, but no one seemed to know if it affected other layouts besides Expressive.

It´s also visible with smooth sailing. Just that the strip is cutting of the header there.

The problem did not only occur when the random link was added. It´s now just better, cause the random link is overlapped and not the Home, Post and Friends Page, which IE is printing on a line above the random link.

Anyway thank you so much for all your replies! Though I´m not using Expressive this community is one of the greatest sources. With pieces of your code I was able to get the thread expander working again and was really important to me.
