In Firefox, screened comments in threads are not indenting. They therefore appear to be starting new threads, when they should be indented below their parent comments ( Read more... )

I only have IE6 in which to test at the moment, and IE6 exhibits the same behavior as Firefox. That makes sense, because screening the comment effectively removes the inline CSS that sets the indentation. What doesn't make sense is why it would work in IE7.

That being said, it definitely seems to be a bug in the actual layout code, not something on your end. I'll see if I can't work up some kind of patch, and see how to get it escalated into LJ's bug tracking system.

This has been reported to LiveJournal developers and will be fixed when possible; you may want to monitor the lj_releases community (http://community.livejournal.com/lj_releases/profile), as changes such as this are announced there. Your patience is appreciated during this time.
Although, I can qualify that answer to say that I reported it myself, along with a patch, which has already been implemented. It's just a matter of waiting until it goes live.

For reference, this was fixed back in Release 30.
