Tag Dropdown / Tags on Profile Page?: SOLVED!

Okay, so this post had a great idea for adding a drop down box in the sidebar that listed the tabs. I would love something like this because while the tags are pretty, they are a bit small and hard to understand for the noneljayers that visit my page

I had written up the complete function to copy/paste in the comments. I just tried it and it worked in my layer OK (some people were talking about an empty combo box, but I didn't get that). So, what is the error you're getting? The compiler is good about telling exactly where the error is, what it's expecting, and what the context is.

I got it. I was trying to place it in some other code so that it would be in the tags section and then I realized I could just place it in blank space. Works great, thanks!

Oh, and I don't think there is any way to access the journal information (i.e. tags) from the Profile editor. I think the stuff you're allowed to use in the profile is kept minimal for a reason.

I can't imagine why unless it would interfere with the site code.

personally, do you know of any accurate stats getters for eljay? I hate that it's so javaphobic.
