I played my didge last night until my lips caught fire. Heh - I remember that feeling, from when I first began playing tuba in the 6th grade. I hated it then - and it hurts like hell now, but I LOVE the feeling. I'll get used to the lips thing once again, and meanwhile, my sound and breath is improving. *poke* So you are :)

So far, the only problem I'm having is keeping the strings from making noise when I let go of them...which I figure is just a matter of getting used to playing again. I remember having that problem when I first started playing cello, too, and it went away in the first couple of weeks.

Ah yeah, that's a combination of your left hand muting and your right hand lifting off the strings cleanly.

And getting my fingers in the right places in the first place. Doesn't work so well BETWEEN the strings, LOL.
