I went to bed early for a change last night, my kid called about 10:30 to ask a ballet-related question, for which I had to drag out my Q....and stepped in a fresh hairball on the floor...then discovered self-same cat had puked in my garden clog. Good thing I didn't just slide my feet in those to walk to the living room...
