Waukegan for the win

Jul 05, 2009 18:31

This afternoon's setlist:

1. Wendy On Board/Red-handed Jill (I elected not to break these two up today, included the live-version-only verses, too.  Xap's daughter was my front row, in her pirate monkey t-shirt.  She sang along and we grinned at each other.)

2. Salad of Doom (dedicated to Alyse, for creating food and being our hostess)

3. Upon Finding ( Read more... )

my fandom sings along, concert, music, i heart filkx0rs, setlist, that which does not suck, my fandom isn't afraid to laugh

I would love to be joyfully pooped...instead I am painfully behind without energy to start to get pooped. Thank gods it wasn't hot here for the 4th, I would have been bedridden.

I look forward to hearing your new stuff, it sounds like the same combination of love and energy along with a dash of spicy different things went into it. Soon, I shall augment my collection...soon.

Be safe, travel well, and knock 'em dead in Nebraska. Heh, the Mennonites won't know what hit 'em!

Oh, Xap just told me that you are in Chicago Oct 3rd. Toyboat may or may not be at Archon in St Louis ... I would recommend it if you are available Friday or Sunday ... email me for the music chair's contact info

I am curious if you will record salad of doom or the we're all mad here song? I so would love to have copies of them to play for a friend of mine and my son when he's born. I already play some of your other songs and he kicks along to the beat. It's pretty neat. :)

They will both be on my next solo album, which is called Mischief. "Cheshire" is in the mixing stage, and we're still tracking "Salad," but they're both in progress.
