Galapagos Art Space in NYC, which was set to host our Palimpsest Release Gala Event on February 25th, just emailed omnisti  and asked us to reschedule for March.  It is now exactly 21 days until the event, 20 days until the book's official release.

How much were you paying for the venue? I get 1/2 off space rentals at my museum. 21 days might be enough time for them--I don't know.

Sure thing. Could you give me an exact date, start time, how many hours the event is, about how many people, what kind of A/V and setup you might need, and if you were planning on having food [all food service has to be through the Museum's caterer--though I imagine they love the idea of running cash bars at events]?

Dunno of any places in NYC, but if you don't mind coming a little further south, perhaps you could try the Painted Bride Art Center, or the Museum of Art? I can check and see if a friend of mine still has connections with Painted Bride, if you want.
