I'm really loving that pairing, how Haku complements Eiri. How he taught Eiri to feel alive, as you wrote, that line killed me, I think defines them perfectly.

I absolutely adore Haku and Eiri as a partnership/pairing because even in canon they are so made for each other. For Haku, who has been called the "jinx" because his Messiahs keep dying (the only student in the history of the Church to hold the record of 2 Messiahs dying before graduation), Eiri, also known as "The Invincible Eiri", was picked for him to see if Eiri would win against that jinx. And, for Eiri, who has always cursed the fact that he couldn't die, that for once, he could turn his "curse" into a "blessing", and live for someone is just fghjklkjhgfdfghjk
