Comment: A very early birthday fikku for Reita's birthday...um...*coughs* yeah. Very short, yes. All because I wrote this about one hour ago.
As for teh chapter fikku...I have ta rewrite it cuz I lost teh usb...again. T_______T Tis not fair!
Summary: Ruki want Reita for himself on his birthday...but there's a few occurances along the way.
This feels great. Reita thought as he stretched his arms and craned his head slightly to the side. His eyes then shifted towards the shorter blonde to his right, who was...well, taking out a few sandwiches from a picnic basket.
Who knew Ruki would invite him to a picnic in the park near his home? And on his birthday no less?
Of course, he shouldn't be too suspicious about the fact that it might be his birthday present. (Ruki mentioned it over and over that he'll surprise Reita with something special for his birthday a couple days back.)
The bassist asked as he propped an elbow onto the grass and laid on the side, "Hey, you said the others were coming. What happened to them?"
Ruki looked over to the lying figure and laughed softly. There was evidence of nervousness within his tone of voice. "Well...um, they couldn't...make it?"
The blonde raised a brow. "Really? Why's that? And when did they tell you that?"
"Um...yesterday?"
"The day where you and me were hanging out the entire day?"
"Um...yeah?"
"They all called you?"
"Um...yeah?"
"And told you they couldn't come?"
"Um...yeah?"
"Ruki."
"...Yeah?"
"Don't lie." Reita smirked.
"What? I'm not lying..." The vocalist faltered slightly.
"Yes, you are. You just want to have me to yourself on my birthday." he smirked widely at Ruki.
"....T-That's...uh...." Ruki didn't know what to say. He stared down at the sandwich he had been holding for the last five minutes, his face flushed with embarassment.
"Actually, I think it was a nice idea."
The vocalist turned to the blonde as he tilted his head to the side. "Wha?"
"Yeah, it's nice to spend my birthday with you...unfortunately..." he pointed his direction. "it looked like your plan failed."
"Heeeey, Ruki. Whatcha doing alone with Reita on his birthday?" Uruha crouched besides the vocalist and poked his cheek. "You know, we wanna celebrate with you guys too. Are you leaving us out?"
Ruki shook his head quickly in response.
"Oh...well, it does looked like you want to be alone with Reita...but anyways, let's all hang out!" Aoi patted the shorter man's back and sat down besides Reita. "Ne, tanjoubi omedetou, Reita."
The bassist smiled and nodded. "Thanks."
"Yeah, tanjoubi omedetou, Reita." Uruha said with a smile. Kai followed afterwards. Ruki, although quiet, muttered "Happy Birthday Reita..."
Since the vocalist was sitting by the blonde, he heard the next phrase to his sentence. "...and next time, I'll have you to myself."
Reita laughed softly and replied quietly, "Hope you succeed then."
