Title: A Simply Game of...[1/1]

Comment: I'm back~...and my writing's bad as ever. XP
And...*ahem* This idea was inspired by my looooooovely Hihen-chan.
Summary: Ruki wanted Reita to play cards with him and Reita...couldn't refuse.
“Hey, Ru-chan…what are you doing?” Reita peered over the vocalist’s shoulder curiously at the deck of cards in his hands.
The bassist had found Ruki sitting cross-legged on the beige carpet in his living room, peering down at the cards as he slid each card from one hand to another. It looked like he was trying to find something from there, but what?
“Hm? What was that-Oh! Found it!” The vocalist raised up a single card; An Ace of Hearts. Grinning to himself, he then gathered the rest of the cards into a neat pile and placed it on the polished wooden table besides him. Soon afterwards, he gathered up the two remaining cards from his lap; An Ace of Clubs and an Ace of Spades.
How curious. Reita thought. Why just three cards?
Ruki turned to the blonde as he held up the three cards. “I want you to play a little game with me.”
That caused Reita to raise a brow in confusion. A game? With only three cards?
“Okay….” he shrugged as he sat cross-legged in front of the vocalist. “And how do we play this little game…?”
“Well…” Ruki began. “I’ll shuffle these cards and placed them faced down between us. Then I’ll ask you a question, a yes or no kind of question…and as an answer, you picked up one of the cards. The black cards will tell me no while the red one will tell me yes. It somewhat acts out as a dare. And that’s about it.”
The bassist stayed silent for a moment before speaking up, almost in disbelief. “What kind of game are you playing here?”
The shorter man simply grinned and poked his nose strap with a finger. “Just play along, okay?”
In a way, Reita couldn’t find any other excuses…okay, so they’re not really excuses. He heaved a sigh and nodded lazily. The vocalist smiled in appreciation and started the game off with a question.
“Would you dye your hair black in the next few days?”
“What kind of question is-“ Reita was then interrupted.
“Just pick a card, Rei-chan.”
He sighed once again and picked a card to his right. It was an Ace of Spades.
“No, I won’t dye my hair.” He revealed the card to Ruki.
“Okay then! Now you’ll shuffle those cards and ask a question.” The vocalist informed.
“Do I have to?”
“Yes” was the firm reply.
The blonde shook his head and did as requested. After placing down the cards face down, he asked, “Would you yell out to the world and say ‘I’m gay!’?”
“Heeeeyyy! What kind of-“
“Just pick a card, Ru-chan.” He nearly repeated with a smirk.
Ruki pouted and picked up the card at center. It was an Ace of Hearts. He gawked at it and stared at Reita, who smirked in triumph.
“Well…you gotta do it then. Make sure you’re loud enough so that I can hear clearly.”
“But-But…I…!” He sighed and stood up in frustration. The bassist watched in amusement as he stomped out of the door.
And a few seconds later, he heard a really loud scream. “I’M FREAKING GAAAAAY!!”
Reita gave a low whistle and clapped. Who knew he’d actually done it?
The vocalist then returned with a really red face as he sat back down and shuffled. Placing the cards before him once again, he asked, “Would you take out your nose strap and not wear it for the next three days starting now?”
Looking quite shocked and panicked, Reita slowly picked up a card to his left. An Ace of Hearts.
Ruki grinned widely as the face of the card reached his view. “Ha! Now you have to do it!”
The blonde grumbled and refused to budge. The vocalist stared and shook his head before standing on his knees and leaning forward to remove the said cloth from the other’s face. Reita still didn’t move because he knew it had to be done.
Once the strip of cloth had been removed, Ruki glanced down at the mass of blond hair as he raised a hand and softly caressed his now exposed cheek. The bassist tensed immediately and gazed up in surprise.
The shorter man then returned to his former position, not leaving the blonde’s gaze. Taking in every detail of his face, he thought he was absolutely stunning. Reita should leave his face exposed more often.
“…Your turn, Rei-chan.” Ruki muttered softly.
Reita nodded mutely and tore his gaze from the vocalist in order to gather up the cards. After placing them neatly in between, he asked, “Would you…like me more than a friend?”
The vocalist blinked once as he stared down at the cards. Picking the card to his left, he found it was the Ace of Hearts. Smiling to the blonde, he revealed the card to him. “Yes, I would.”
The bassist smiled in return.
Ruki shuffled once more and as he put them down, he asked, “Would you kiss me?”
Choosing the card at the left, Reita stared at it for a long while. The vocalist grew curious.
“Well?”
“Hm…” he paused as he leaned up and gave Ruki a quick kiss. “Does that answer your question?”
He tossed the Ace of Hearts towards the vocalist.
Glancing down at the single card, he replied, “Yep,…quite well.”
