It's really awful, I haven't read the books and I seriously don't want to, but the more I hear about the actors, the more I really want to watch Twilight when it comes out
( Read more... )
I've read the books they're otay...not the best. Considering while I was reading I just wanted the two virgins to just do it and get it over with. lol But personally I wants to see the movie cause well I can't stop giggling at the fact that a Hufflepuff is playing a vampire. That makes me giggle. But I am easily amused. eh...
The fact that they're about a vampire stalker and somehow that's okay and good and sparkly and wonderful makes my head hurt. He climbs into her fucking ROOM and stares at her while she sleeps. He's a creepy sociopathic bastard who cuts her brakes lines. NOT OKAY. D:<
But reading cleolinda's Twilight recaps have done a lot of redeeming. Also, Edward is 108 year old, prissy, manic-depressive virgin who calls family meetings. And Rpattz HATES him. It's amusing.
I'm not sure the plot will be that incoherent, and the actors are definitely not that pretty. Although, if they cast Omhyra Mota in the movie, no force on earth can keep me away. And yet...
So with you there. I wanted nothing to do with it and yet.. the more wank that gets generated and the more UHMAAAAAAAAAZING BOOOOOOOOOK memes pop up and especially the more I see of RPattz struggling not to badmouth the characters and writing /outright/ in his interviews, the more I get interested in watching the damn thing when the movie comes out :o
I don't think I've ever seen an actor with top billing in a movie actual admit to loathing their character the way he did. (The clincher kind of settled in when he was talking about Bella, and basically called the books out on what a weak character she was, and how completely Edward dominated her, which he contrasted with how both he and Kristen actually are XD)
'Course, before even getting even vaguely interested in seeing the movie, I was tossing out collab ideas to some friends about us trolling the premiere lines at the local movie theater. Something involving exaggerated pantomime and a shit load of glitter.... (That or just copypasta some juicy Pattinson quotes onto some

AWESOME XD (Wait, are you still going to SJSU? Depending on whether Twilight's release goes the same as most movie premieres, that'll probably mean driving to the AMC after class late on Thursday.. Actually, I should really find out what local cities have the biggest turnouts for 12am movie premieres--I've only gone to the premieres at the Cupertino AMC.)
I have no idea what that is. Expound? DOES IT INVOLVE MAXIMUM DAZZLE?
YES! :D (I am, although most of my classes this semester are entirely online. But once you know, I can schedule myself-- I'm usually working on Thursdays, but my boss is flexible liek whoa.)
It does, in fact, involve MAXIMUM DAZZLE. These people's commitment to Sparkle Motion, I can NEVER doubt. :D Growing Up Cullen, which is even more hilarious if you read Midnight Sun, I'm told, since their characterization of half the characters is apparently spot-on.
