See, to me Japanese is black and white and English is greens and browns and yellows. Spanish is red and orange and a hint of olive green and Yiddish--yes, gray and brown.

I have synesthesia too. Everything has a color.

Yiddish is just a grey and brown language, I guess.

Not everything has an obvious color for me, but certain patterns are really pronounced. I mix up 9, N, and the color green all the goddamn time.

I don't tend to mix things up but I can see it all in my head with the associated color--for me, N is orange, 9 is purple, and green is, well, green.

Heh. Like I said, it makes my dyslexia really weird sometimes.

I love you and your weird. ♥

I don't think that I have much synesthesia in that sense; for me languages aren't colors, they're musical (even when written), but since the languages I know (English, Japanese, and German) are all inherently about rhythm and tonality, it's not really synesthetic, just a matter of personal interpretation.

I think your brain is interesting. It works so strangely.

I didn't even know it was weird until I learned about synesthesia! It was all "You mean other people don't count in color?"

See, interpreting languages as music makes some sort of sense.

Sylar! >:(

So if I was to speak Japanese, English and Spanish to you at the same time, would I spit out rainbows?!

Its not farting rainbows, but it'll do.

(And as for speaking all three, its all about the context. "Tu oka-san wa baka, bitch" being my all time favorite)

They'll be rainbows in my head.

(:O That's a very orange sentence.)
