Just randomly browsed Penny Arcade. Never read Penny Arcade before. Some pages are fun, but... some other pages just are... ... ... either it full of multi-meaning texts, or I just didn't get what happened in the time the comic was released. This comic, for example

Ohhh this comic was referring to some "outrage" in the game Little Big Planet for PS3. that included a song with verses from Islam. So instead of educating people about religious tolerance and just accepting it as a song, the game was patched with an instrumental version of the song.

Basically people over-reacting and this comic is just making fun of that mindset who over-reacted.

That being said, when reading Penny Arcade you'd either need to a) be really on top of video games to some degree or b) read the main page of penny arcade where the comic is sometimes explained.

Maybe, I don't know. All I know is it was a commercial song that the company had to have bought the rights for to use in their videogame. :\
