My least favorite thing

A regular inspection is coming up for me. I think it is a waste of time. Dress uniform. Shined boots. Stand for a few hours and get stared at by the command. I could use that time better. I have cadets to train and investigations to run. I suppose I will put up with it once again. I now have to find the uniform as I rarely wear the parade version.

It is something that has to be done. I just do not like having to dress up for no reason. It takes a long time to be perfect and I refuse for to have anything out of place.

Only a few hours. Then I can be back to doing what is actually important until next year when I must do it all over again.
