Name
It happens by accident, one too many slip-ups leading to a confession in front of the entire group. Nonetheless, it still is Massu’s fault mostly, Koyama would insist, Massu’s fault for “accidentally” brushing up against him backstage dressed in his sweatpants and nothing else, for crooning “Darling” none-too-innocently into his ear and for everyone to hear.
12.
Sensual
Koyama shifts uncomfortably, tries to swallow against the lump in his throat, wonders what on earth he was thinking when he bought Massu strawberry crepe after dinner; watches in fascination as Massu slowly licks the whipped cream off his fingers, almost forgets to breathe.
13.
Death
Massu dresses all in black one cold day in October, doesn’t look up when Yamapi greets him in the elevator, doesn’t even smile when Tegoshi does one of his admittedly lame impersonations -- and it makes Koyama worry, makes the older man corner Massu in the dressing room after rehearsals that day, watches as Massu finally breaks down, doesn’t know whether to feel exasperated or to empathize with him when Massu finally recounts to him Botan’s tragic death in the hands of a drycleaner.
Note: Botan, I think, is the name of Massu’s stuffed pig in MachiMasu. And, if it isn’t, well, let’s just pretend that it is… Ne...? ^______^

Sex
The first time they do it, it is clumsy and awkward and all over the place - all in all, rather embarrassing; both a little bit too eager, a little bit too naïve. And yet it’s still one of Koyama’s fondest memories, cannot forget the feeling of having an extremely flustered, extremely hot Masuda Takahisa lying under him, and the realization that, for all Massu’s apparent interest in all things ero, he was still innocent; can’t forget the whimper in Massu’s voice when the younger man confessed that it was his first time and if Koyama would be gentle. Please, Keiichirou...
15.
Touch
It starts out subtly enough: a hand on Massu’s arm, an arm around his waist - in photo-shoots, PVs, program appearances; it starts out subtly enough that Koyama could easily laugh it off and chalk it up to member ai or pre-direction or the gyoza they just ate, if and when anyone would notice; wishes he doesn’t need all those excuses, wouldn’t need a reason just so he could touch Massu like that.
16.
Weakness
Tegoshi shrieks in peals of laughter as Massu tickles his sides, the two of them grappling all over NEWS’ shared room like a couple of five-year-olds; tries to exact his revenge by poking at Massu’s tummy repeatedly to no avail. “It’s the left side of his neck,” Koyama finally calls out helpfully when Tegoshi tries and fails for the thousandth time to find Massu’s ticklish spot, doesn’t notice Ryo and Shige’s shared looks and Yamapi choking on his milkshake.
17.
Tears
Koyama wants to reach out, doesn’t know how to apologize, how to say “I’m sorry for taking your feelings for granted” without sounding the least bit conceited; doesn’t know what to do, how to feel, not when Massu was a trembling, sobbing mess on the floor in front of him; reaches out, brings him into his arms. “Masuda…” He begins. Massu shakes his head. “I’m not crying.” He says. “I don’t cry… especially not when I’m sad.” Koyama feels his heart ache.
18.
Speed
It feels like a failed Physics experiment, Koyama muses, this entire non-relationship with Massu; wonders when exactly it happened, when exactly did they stop even trying. Distance over time, right? he thinks bitterly, watches Massu take
Nishihara Aki-chan’s hand and wishes he had said something sooner.
19.
Wind
Koyama groans and Massu just laughs, watching Koyama’s letter to him being carried off by the summer wind. “Now, what was that you wanted to tell me?” he asks; isn’t really that surprised when Koyama just rolls his eyes, pulls him in and kisses him; thinks actions win over words any day.
20.
Freedom
Massu likes taking bus rides at night, prefers it to the convenience of a taxi or the speed of taking the train or the luxury of Koyama’s car; likes the feeling of anonymity, of being just like everyone else; usually sits next to the window, two seats from the back, bobbing his head to music coming from his iPod, looking out as the city lights zoom in front of him. Massu treasures these moments of peace, his alone time; though, one time, when Koyama offers to tag along and he ends up listening to Koyama’s excited chatter instead, staring at the hilights of Koyama’s hair, and when he feels Koyama nonchalantly taking his hand, entwining their fingers together, not caring who would notice - it is then that Massu realizes, this was what he’s been wanting all along.
Okay, so I got carried away and the last one should be considered a drabble already, at the least... Well, meh... XP KoyaMassu is so much fun to write... ♥
