Walking with the ReDead
(or, OH FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY THERE'S SOMETHING EATING MY HEAD)
You always remember your firsts: first home run, first love, first time you play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and rush down into the Royal Family's Tomb in the Kakariko Graveyard... Oh yes, I know I'm not alone among Zelda fans in ( Read more... )

ocarina of time, the wind waker, videos, the legend of zelda, pictures

XD Oh man, this post is full of so much awesome and it made me laugh so hysterically that my cats ran away from me. A++++++ for you my friend.

But yes, the Wind Waker ReDeads are soooooo much creepier than the Ocarina of Time ones. Eeeeee!

And Wallmasters? I loathe them (...mainly because I'd get so distracted by my surroundings that I'd miss seeing their shadows as they fell over me. ARGH). They rank up there on my list of most annoying Zelda monsters along with Like Likes.

Thank you! I was hoping someone would enjoy it as much as I did...:D You have to read the poem-story about ReDeads (linked in an edit). It's genius.
And yeah, Wallmasters are evil...though surprisingly less in OoT. They were the bane of my existence playing A Link to the Past... In the Dark World's Lost Woods dungeon? Absolutely evil! Of course, this also goes for Like Likes. Most evil enemy evarrrrr.

Ahahaha, that ReDead poem-story is genius. The "POW! ZAP! JEEPERS! CRACKLE! POP! He slashed me again then beat me with a rock." part killed me. XDDD

That was a genius part, but it was the thought of playing Hide-and-Go-Seek with a ReDead that really had me snickering 8D

Never played Zelda, but watched my brother play and he only played old school original Legend of Zelda. Though I feel as if I may need to invest in OoT.

Ahhhh old school Zelda is so hard for me. I'm one of those people who need a hint to get on the right track. With the original Zelda, I kept wandering around and dying. I don't think I even made it to the first dungeon...

~raises hand~ I'm also someone that is totally inept at the original Zelda. My brother teases me for my ability to always get lost on my way to the second dungeon despite the fact that he has shown me the way many, many times. XD Ah, I have such a poor sense of direction.

Is that the part where it's all the same scenery until you go a different way? I remember seeing a part like that when I used to watch my babysitter's husband play.

Oh ReDeads, what would we do without you? (probably have a lot more hearts and less of a death count...)
