Well, at this point in time, it looks like I'm stuck with UW. When me and my folks boiled everything down, there were just more programming choices, more flexibility in not having to live on campus or buy a food plan, no set curricula, and more stability with regards to the Det ( Read more... )

Hopefully you are still able to make it through the whole college experience with that attitude. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying you are being a baby or something, but the fact is that when you have such a negative attitude towards anything like that, it makes chance of success much lower. If you are gonna put yourself through all of this, which seems like a miserable experience, I hope you pull through and get it done. If you don't think it'll happen, maybe you should spend time "discovering" yourself, and really figure out what you want.

You are at the point in your life now where you call the shots. Parents at this point are just trying to abuse their previous status as all powerful gods. For me, I am really motivated to continue my engineering aspirations. But if I wasn't there's no way i'd be doing it. You gotta do what you believe in.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Frankly, I'm surprised I've been able to hover in the 3.2-3.8 range all this time...
