Wrote this on the drive down South, so it's a bit incoherent. Sorry. ;)

I did not remember that about Quantum Leap. Yay! That's where my Man of La Mancha associations came from for the longest time, too.
I was actually listening to Midnight Train to Georgia when I got the idea. Squee for songfic.

Me too! Unfortunately, Georgia is not on the soundtrack I promised to you :-( Probably something to do with the rights.

Well, they aren't really sexy. Not enough angst. Too young. ;) They just ooze adorability and bleakness in perfect amounts.
That's probably the problem with Eames, too. She isn't broken, damnit!

That's okay. I don't actually like the song. ;)

I've only seen the first season of DLM, but that sort of describes Daisy to me, if that makes any sense. The episode (Vacation?) where the reapers sort through the paper work that has the dead's last thoughts and Mason comes across Daisy's is especially sad and telling: "Why has no one ever loved me?"
I really love your DLM stories. You do such a fantastic job of capturing the characters and tone. This one especially, it's perfect, so melancholy and wistful. *Happy sigh*
Gah. I hate being so inarticulate, but anyway great job. I love it.

Daisy's fascinating. In that same episode, it reveals she died in Marietta, Georgia. So did she ever go to Hollywood?

::blushes:: I'm glad you think so. Thank you.

You're not inarticulate. INarticulate.

Sorry about that. You are, indeed, articulate.
UNLIKE MYSELF.

Jorja Fox... Now I've lost my train of thought. Um...
Right. Thank you. ::wriggles under your petting:: I think there's just enough melancholy in the characters to keep me interested in writing them, but just enough humor so I don't become overwhelmed. They're perfect. I'm just glad I have ideas.

Thank you very much. I miss the show, too. It feels like it left a lot unfulfilled. But I have been enjoying watching it over and over...

I admit, I kind of lost touch with her after Shag, but seeing her pop up in various entertainments has always been a delight. Right now I'm watching the West Wing Season 6 for the first time, and I quivered to pieces when she appeared.
Which might be too much information.

You're welcome. I'm glad people are reading this, obscure and out-of-date though it is. We Library Science people have to stick together. :)
