Our school band sucks!
See, I play viola in the orchestra, and we have our own practice room (finally!). But noooooooo! that bastard Mr. Beamish, the band director, wanted us to give up OUR room for HIS band b/c the room is partitioned off with a supposedly "sound-proof" barrier. He said it's "disrupting the band students".
We already have to compete with them over the partition jsut top hear our conductor give directions! Miss Murrell (our conductor, also my private lesson teacher, who ROCKS MY SOCKS!) was uber-pissed, just like we all were. She let him have it today, and I am worshipping her cos he reconsidered and let us stay in that room! The reason it wasn't fair for them to try to get the orhcestra out is b/c the high schol orchestra always gets the second-hand of everything! The band gets new instruments, we're stuck with beat-up basses and five broken cellos (which they "can't fix"- BULLSHIT!) Who gets to go an a trip paid for by the music department? the band! Who has to pay for the ENTIRE trip on their own with NO money support? the orchestra! And get this: we're supposed the keep our concert performances to half an hour, right? Well, when we have to remove a few pieces in order to fit the time constraint, the band takes half an hour jsut announcing what their stupid songs are all about, and some other awards. This is EVERY ####### time!! I've never liked Mr. Beamish cos he's always kicking us out of Miss Murrell's office. HER office, NOt his, and he's forcing us out for lessons! So where do we have to play?! in the ####### cold auditorium, where the itty-bitty stage can't hold a 78-person ensemble! The band has about 40 per ensemble! (and even worse: there's three different bands; two of which you have to audition for! The orchestra takes ANYONE who plays a string instrument.) Fair? BULLSHIT! I'm so ####### fed up with the way they treat string players. We deserve more respect!
I'm not being an Anti-Bandist or anything; I have nothing against them. It's Mr. Bastard's fault that I hold such a grudge. He's obviously a very lonely, bitter, jealous man who can't get any from anyone! I don't know who the hell would marry him. Hell, I don't even think he's married at all! GOD I wanna KILL him! more than *gasp* my father!! grrrrrrrr...I never thought I'd want to kill anyone more than my ########## father.
