So true. :( Even in both of their scenes in 6x21, if Dean had reached out... It doesn't make sense he called Cas "family". (And how could Sam say "I'd die for him" in 6x20, when he didn't even hug him when Cas had tried to, back in mid-season?)

Yes. We all know how Dean is when it comes to expressing himself, but come on, if he thinks of Cas as family? All he's done is demanding and accusing.

I know! Dean is pretty predictable about those in his inner circle, and that behavior is most certainly not how he treats Cas. He calls him for help all the time, but has he ever said a little prayer that he worries and hopes Cas is okay? Or that he'd like for Cas to visit when he has a spare moment, just to hang out, take a break from the fighting? Nope. *pouts*
