WOW - I really love your writing style :) Lots of details and the way you have written Griffin feels very much in character. I felt like I was watching another scene from the film :) I think you have captured the essence of what Griffin was feeling and thinking in such an intense moment of pain and betrayal. I'm really looking forward to reading more in this series!

Since I am also detailed focused - Griffin is about 22 by the time he is in Chechnya :)

Oh yay! I'm so glad that you think well of it, I admit I was frightened about posting this story. I have this inexplicable feeling that since it's my first it's going to be terrible whatever I do, haha.

I've always had a problem with wanting to add too much detail into my writing, I think that sometimes it makes the reader feel too detached from what I'm trying to convey. But I can't seem to stop lol. I keep repeating "show don't tell, show don't tell!" to myself but blah: There's tons of space for improvement. xD

I haven't really made an outline for the story yet, so I'm not sure how long it'll end up being or what happens next. It's difficult, but more fun that way. ^___^

Griffin is about 22 by the time he is in ChechnyaGASP, YAY. Thank you for this! I'll need to go back and edit a few things now! *excited

I love detailed writing - I'm the same way myself :) I joke that it comes from my background in Film Studies - I tend to write visually and descriptive with details - which believe me, makes some of my stories HUGE. I'm challenging myself as a writer in this fandom by trying to write short fics, and from differing perspectives. If you like details, stick with it because you do it *very* well!

If you need a beta, post to the comm - lots of people here will beta (or at least they did when the comm was more active). I can always beta if you want. Or a sounding board if you need to figure out the plot narrative :)

And PLEASE keep up the momentum and writing - this is such a great start I cannot wait to read more :)

Hi! I've been gone from Jumperfic for a while now, and searching for something to pique my interest, I stumbled upon this little gem.

I can't wait to read more! Keep up the good work! I think it's nice someone's doing an aftermath fic. While there may be a few floating around, I really love the dialogue and characterization. Seems like how Griffin'd act. He just seems so damn violent at times...
