Disney's hand-drawn animations are always an inspiration and a wonderous piece of art to me. One, in particular, really touched me deeply because of it's unique and deep characterization and story line.

I haven't seen that movie in ages partly because I'd always flee when the violent/embarassing parts of disney movies came up... orz The only thing I remember is: "Sanctuary! Sanctuary!" XD

Just a random fun fact:
Did you know that Osamu Tezuka was a Disney fanboy to the point of making doujin about several Disney movies? Also leading to the legal dispute regarding the fact that "The Lion King" and "Kimba the White Lion" are eerily similar. He got a LOT of inspiration from those films.

Also is it Esmerelda or Esmeralda?
