to dye or not to dye?

Ok, so I've obviously dyed my hair before, but over the summer I went and got my hair professionally done (so I could look more professional) and went with a more natural shade. Its starting to fade and my roots are showing, and I'm trying to decide between going and getting it professionally done again, or just using a box. I've never used a box

I've always used box/bottles, they're easy to follow. I would say have someone help you with the back or ask them to see if you got it all. If you're getting something to lighten it make sure it's not any of that 2$ stuff , make sure it has a lifting agent in it or else you will have wasted your money. Clairol makes good hair dyes, so try those.
