so far the winds are pretty harsh but the damn thing isnt officially here yet. it's gonna be a long 12 hours.

how close are you? you haven't evacuated?

well we didnt evacuate because we live on the north side of houston where the flooding and winds wouldnt be as bad. we have three refridgerators which were all packed with food and we had enough drinks to fill a swimming pool. our house did not get any damage but the winds were insane. we were without power for about 16 hours but we were one of the 1% of the whole houston area that has electricity. we still have no internet but i have an unlimited internet plan on my phone so i've been posting stuff on my myspace page with updates.
