That was pretty much how we felt about it, and when we found out it would be in Seoul, we knew this would be one of the very few chances we would have. So glad we did. There are rumours of a new Vienna revival coming up, too! Keep an eye out :D
Whaaah, you did your post. I've been reliving the moment for most of today *_*
I wish there was a fancam of Mayerling Waltz. Although it was longer than we're used to, which threw me off at first, I liked the staging. And I liked that Rudolf actually raises the gun to his head and pulls the trigger by himself. Death might be all over him, but he's not touching the gun or his arm at that point. In some stagings it looks like Death is forcing Rudolf's hand, which completely changes the dynamic of their relationship and Death's ensuring scenes with Elisabeth. For me at least.
The posters are actually full-page images in the program book :) I've vowed that I must get any program book I get in Korea signed by at least ONE of the performers of the show, and in this one I got six!! Last year's Rock of Ages I got three, I think.
He wasn't, but Junsu's also a lot younger than him and used to strenuous dance routines so I didn't really hold it against him. He was still good! Just different to what I'm used to, I guess.
