I was told that I haven't updated in a long time, and yes, I admit to that.
I lost the motivation to write fangirl posts, primarily coz I don't fangirl all that much nowadays.
So I guess I'll write a not-so-quick update as to what's happened, RL & fandom.

Ok, you want to work in Japan because 1. you love Japan 2. you love teaching? I ASSUME is 1 cause you apparently don't seem to fit the tolerant enough to be a teacher lol.
Try going for jobs which has training/course offer which does not required working permanently in Japan. Like eg: Translator (Japanese focused?) So you'd get to travel to Japan for some functions. Or embassy-related jobs so you can have business travel to Japan. Or anything beyond those.
Ok I wrote too much. But yea I just want to add to your misery by adding more options. lol
I love Junichi in gif > jpg! And I love the drunks > police.

Trying to be a Japanese translator would take me at least 5 years of schooling. I'd have to start fresh, and get myself a degree in Japanese first, and then get more training in translation. I WAS thinking about going for Chinese-English translation, but honestly I'd rather not work with Chinese people. *cough*

Dear Hyde:
I love you despite you are married and the fact that you don't even know who I am makes it lovely.

heh I sorta wanna do what you wanna do...well the language part anyway..master japanese, maybe korean too and then be a translator..
but I dunno..translating isnt exactly a high paying job xD
haha your drunk story xD

Translating isn't a high-paying job, no, but I think it'll be challenging, and stimulating perhaps. At least it's a little bit different each time.

Junichi!!!...yeah i totally agreed with that...i love it when he
does the "Zoom In" thing..it would kill me if he doesn't do it hahaha
Goddamn it what I'd do to see that movie right now. Idol otaku Takashi + Dame otoko Junichi = fandom heaven.
a wonderful reunion!!! i can't wait to watch this movie...the waiting is unbearable XD
and about SP, at least there's a sp for it right? but you never know...it might be good enough for them to consider a movie.
well, we'll just pray hard and see later...
hmm...i see that you're still in dilemma about the whole japan thing..
i really wish i could help you out but as i've told you before that even if i wanted to go i would still not go cos i'm just way to close to my family and my mom will kill me before i have the chance to go... but it seems like a long time dream for you so maybe this once....just this once, you should just go and follow your dream...but i'm sure it's easier said than done...but i really hope you'll find your answer and ( ... )

I miss SP already. *cries*
Yeah, I know that if I don't follow my dreams I'll regret later. But I just don't know when to go. If I go later, my parents will be older, and physically they'll need me more. So it's almost like, go now or never.

SMAP has a new single again? I'm glad they're getting more active with their releases :) GacktxHydexLeehom reunion *dies*

I always look forward to seeing him with the Zoom In crew.
SMAP's new single is coming out in March, but it's the ending song for Goro's drama, so there's a 2-minute version available already.

I had 2-year period of musing about going or not going, and finally applied this year for a pre-college visa. Not really a chance to work there, but I'd gladly take 1 year off my career path. Have troubles sleeping at night because of it too, heh :)
As for career choices - how about Japanese translator? :) You could get this schooling done somewhere in Japan, and have a job after this :)

Right at this moment, I don't have much of a career, so I can afford to take time off. If only I could work out all the family issues, I'd take off tomorrow.
Being a Japanese translator would be good, except I don't have much background in the language. I'd have to go get a degree/diploma for it first, and then get more training for translating, which would take me at least 5 years. I dunno. I don't know if I can afford to "invest" 5 more years, coz by the time I'm done I'll be 30. ............

If everything'll come out right I'll be off in April.
Hm.. as for work thing - please be careful, this is my opinion and might not be good for you (just in case :)). I think it's a good possibility, to live for some period in another country. Especially good if you'd like some time to understand what you want in life and work and such.
