I like the fact that in this story events have consequences. I keep nodding my head--yes, exactly, that's how it goes. Also like the way you've spackled the movie years.

I was really trying to go for emotional realism in this fic, because dealing with all this stuff should not be easy. Still, Jim is pretty resilient once he gets his head on straight. :p
