I am very tempted to not go to class tomorrow. Very, very tempted.

On the one hand, I've not missed a single day of class all semester, which is a good thing. At the end of the semester I would feel quite proud of myself for a perfect attendence record (which has never once happened in, well, all my years in school), and also it means I won't ( Read more... )

You're coming up on Season 2? Oh yeah. Joss is going to tear your heart out. Several times over. And that's before you even get to Season 3.

I started watching it in Season 2, and got my heart ripped out several times over through out the history of the show. There are still episodes that "get me" when I watch them - even when I know what's going to happen. Season one is more of a scene setting, I can guarantee that you'll get attached to several of the characters along the way. You will also happily choke one or two from time to time! : )

XD I was hoping that people were going to tell me that if I wasn't hooked by now it was a lost cause. Well, I suppose that even if my heart does get ripped out, it's because of a good show. :)

You should go to class, if only to have the joy of knowing you got a perfect attendance record (something I have *never* achieved). If you'd already missed something, I'd say don't bother. But… if you don't go, then all those other times you dragged yourself out of bed when you really didn't feel like it will just be worthless, no?

I didn't get invested in the Buffy universe until partway through season 2, when it became suddenly unexpectedly really good. The show has made me cry actual tears a number of times since then. XD

He was still getting his footing and setting up the universe in season one. I liked s1 more for the plot and banter than the characters. But season 2? OH yes.
