Tomorrow I have my first test of the semester. Ack! I did manage to write my take-home essay, which drew heavily on one of the featured chapters in the test, so I'm sure I've got anything related to that down. I've been studying the other chapters too, and I've attended every class and done well on every lab, so I think I can do well on the test

I'd say go for it. If you're worried, just write how you want it on the first draft and then go through and edit and lighten things up a little. It doesn't have to be WHEE CRACK, since WaLHFMF while it was a slightly cracky premise, wasn't hugely OTT in style and did have some serious moments!

Write it because the tone of each fic doesn't have to impact on the other. It's just the same universe
