Interesting chapter, love how Vader truly loves Luke; but isn't above manipulating and using him. Perhaps not in this story; but sooner or later that is going to bite Vader on his leather covered butt, I do believe.

But poor Luke, so lonely, yet so isolated by the culture he's living in. Vader & Luke's plan isn't for Luke to defect to the Rebels is it?

'Cause I'd love to see how Leia and Han would rub off on him now. To be given real friendship would be a powerful thing for Luke. And might even give him loyalties that conflict with his father.

I'm very eager for more.

Yeah, pretty much. Luke and Vader are in for some tough times in the sequel...

You'll see! Various bits will be revealed in the last two chapters of this fic, as well as the beginning of the sequel, but it'll be awhile until you find out the shape of the whole thing.

The sequel is this trilogy's version of the OT (with some different events, of course), so Han and Leia will definitely be there, though the interaction between them and Luke will of course be somewhat different.
