This was so great and sexy! But I think my favorite two things were:

“Hey,” he tilts her chin up until her eyes meet his, “no matter what happens, whatever the outcome, at the end of the day it’s just you and me. That’s the most important thing. Okay?” She smiles, and nods."

“Love you,” Ben says, “and like you,” she replies. The smile he gives her is the one she knows is reserved just for her. She reciprocates the smile knowing that he truly is all she really needs."

I don't remember reading love you/like you as a reply rather than a full statement. I have no idea why, but I
LOVED it so much.
