I will "officially" have a new blog soon. As some of you might know, Josh bought me the domain bevinaguero.com, and I plan on starting a website. So far, I've already set up a WordPress blog and a Gallery for all of my photos. All photos previously on Facebook and any new ones I take will be in my online Gallery, which I'm excited about

Technically you're supposed to be able to export your LJ into an XML file easy-peasy, and then WordPress imports said XML file with no problems whatsoever. I haven't personally been able to get it to work though, because LJ and my Safari browser weren't playing happy. When I tried to export it with FireFox though, it -seemed- to work, which is a good thing for the most part. The other factor here is that I think I want all of my archived LJ entries to be private on my journal, but I don't want to make you register to read my blog, nor do I want to have to enter special code into every entry just to make it "dissappear" for everyone but me. Josh is going to look online for a plugin that'll allow me to "hide" a whole category, so I can just mark LJ entries as "Archive" and be done with it. :-) Which, of course, means that it's no use to me to be able to put LJ entries into WordPress if I don't have a way to keep them private from people ( ... )
