Tru Thinks in North PointIt was late autumn in North Point. Snow clouds hung heavy over the city, making the brightly painted houses look even brighter. In an exclusive district of the city near the college an elf looked out the window of one of those houses. He watched the traffic on the street for a few minutes, then walked back to the fireplace

Well, that's certainly a good start - at least she hasn't been made to think he's not even worth knowing. I think questioning is an important part of being a parent; he seems on the right path to doing right by her.

Lana heard about Tru from people other than her mother so she got a more balanced picture of him.

I feel like the fact that he's questioning it so much means that he's willing to put forth the effort at being a good parent.

This was very sweet! I should also note that my BFF and I take part in weekly role-playing games. Her character is named Renata and mine is Elayna, lol!

Thanks! It's part of a much longer story I've been working on since the last full Idol season.

I remember these characters, and I am not super sad that Renata is gone either. This was a lovely re-introduction to this world.

I was surprised by all the comments about how sweet Renata was in the last full season. But then I have the whole story in my head and I know what she really is. I also know the whole story about Dorian which I haven't even gone into yet.

If I ever get the whole thing written down it will be one of my greatest accomplishments.
