Thank you! I can't believe you have 22 stockings (how do you decide which ones to hang up?). When I finally settle someplace for good, I know I'm going to have a ridiculous amount of Christmas stuff. I've already accumulated more than I should for not really having a permanent adult residence. (I tend to be a bit of a hoarder anyway; my sister is the only one who keeps me in check, and it has, previously, reduced her to tears. The day she opened a jewelry box in my dresser and about 3 dozen ribbons popped out, she honestly had a breakdown. We are total opposites in that respect.)
Aw, I love this. And I love that we have all kind of taken the events of "Operation Ann" and mutually decided that the two of them are in some weird competition to out-Christmas-gift each other. Thank you for this!
It’s a sweet mental image: tiny Ben excited over the arrival of Santa Claus. Heartwarming in a way many of Ben’s childhood stories aren’t because a lot of them end in weird twists of madness. Like burning all the Christmas stockings.
Utterly adorable, as usual. You've made me super nostalgic for stockings too! I love the idea of Leslie hoarding plaid to remind her of Ben during those dark days of the break-up.
Ahhh and the Christmas card one! So perfect! Of course Ben's nomadic lifestyle didn't lend itself to Christmas cards. Ben getting all sappy about seeing their names together on the card melted my heart like a snowman on a tropical island.
This seriously tugged my heart strings. it was amazing and beautiful and cute and funny. Seriously... I love this. So MUCH. It's sheer cuteness just makes me want to jump with joy. It's so cute and I love it.

Love the weird twists of madness, especially.
