I just prefer to think of Valentines Day as the holiday it should be represented as - a day to show a little bit more love to everyone you care about -- family, friends, significant other if so, and well.. pretty much everyone you care about.
But of course big corporations have to commercialize to make sales like with any other holiday. And you're right - it's a good reason to exchange chocolate and other sweets.
Doesn't bother me. In fact I forgot earlier today it was Valentines Day, lol. I think having a boyfriend or girlfriend is a bit overrated anyway, personally. But that's just me, since I prefer to keep myself busy with other priorities.

Ok, I wasn't sure of your relationship status, but I'll also be honest and say that I was kinda just counting the people that there was actually the possibility of me seeing on Valentines, had I not had to work. I found out on New Years that it is VERY strange to be the only single person in the room. At midnight I'm sitting there as everyone else is kissing up a storm, trying to ignore all the lovey-dovey-ness while sipping my champagne. Very surreal.

Okay, gimme a call if you like. I'm going to try and sleep this morning anyways. I slept really bad before work yesterday.
And yeah, it was totally random since I was looking for Persona 4 and instead Yakuza 2 was there. It felt like one of those moment of destiny type deals, so I had to buy it. I didn't give myself a choice in the matter. You can borrow it after I'm done, if you like!
