Completely random, but we have two handheld phones that allow you to set a name that displays on the screen when they're off.  I named these units HAL and GlaDOS.  That's just asking for an electronic uprising. . .

You know what's bizarre?

My mother went into labor with me while watching the pilot of a 90's television show.

Three years ago, 15 years after this happened, this show turned out to be one of the best television shows I had ever seen, and is still my absolute favorite.
