Summer's going well so far - I don't actually have much to say, but I feel like I should post.  I'm going to go work in about ten minutes, but this is the last thing I have to do this week and then I get to go collapse!  My body's adjusting to the exertion, though, which is helpful.  Aikido is still going well, though Thursday I managed to somehow

Just chiming in to agree that Octavian Nothing and Casablanca are both fabulous! Albeit in very, very different ways.

I loved that scene because it exemplified the relationship between those two - it was obvious Louis had his job to do and was sorry about it, and obvious to both of them that he was making up a stupid excuse, and I just loved how their relationship was done - I love casual, "We should be opposed but let's be friends instead while still doing our jobs" relationships.

And Octavian Nothing, YES. The characters and writing style were the particularly incredible parts of that book - I'm going to try and get the sequel soon. I may buy it - my library for whatever reason doesn't have it.
